Parallel Play

We've been there too.

Staring at the same four walls. Missing unexpected inspiration. Craving creative energy that Zoom can't provide.

We built Parallel Play because we were tired of working alone while surrounded by millions of other creatives in NYC.

Based out of Verci, we are bringing the collaborative spirit and community we've cultivated to creatives across the city. Welcome to our creative co-working club.

We gather for Sunday sessions to work on our creative goals, together

Here’s what a typical Sunday looks like

 FAQs

  • Parallel Play is $25 for a session or $40 for a month of unlimited access.

  • Not at all. We welcome side-hustlers, career-changers, and multi-hyphenates. Creativity doesn't require credentials.

  • We've played around with different formats to get that perfect mix of meeting cool people and actually getting stuff done:

    Intros and intentions (1:00 - 1:30 PM)

We kick things off with some chill intro time over free coffee and snacks. Then we mix everyone into random groups of 10 where you'll share who you are and what you're hoping to tackle today. It's amazing how often these quick chats lead to "wait, you do that too?!" moments!

    Get-Stuff-Done Time (1:30 - 3:30ish)

This is when the magic happens! We throw on some lo-fi beats and everyone dives into their work.

    Show & Tell/Breakouts (3:45 - 5:00 PM)

Wrap up with quick "Ship It" shoutouts where you can share what you did/something you learned/something you need help with, etc.. Then people often peel off into smaller groups based on who you clicked with or what you're working on. Stay as long as you want or duck out early :)

Sometimes we shake things up/experiment based on what people tell us works best. We love feedback!

  • We offer a money-back guarantee if you don’t feel like you enjoyed the session/it didn’t meet your expectations. We just ask that you show up to a session to try it first.
